Olint's David Smith must forfeit US$128 million

Under the terms of his plea agreement, David Smith must forfeit US$128 million which prosecutors say were proceeds from fraud, a house purchased in 2006 for US$730,000 for his sister and brother-in-law and gemstones and jewellery.

Olympic champ Campbell-Brown will now open at Adidas Track Classic

Olympic champion Veronica Campbell-Brown will now open her 2009 season at the Adidas Track Classic on May 16, after a toe injury forced her to miss the Jamaica Invitational last weekend, the meeting she had initially planned to open with. Campbell-Brown won a nail-biting 100m at the Center last year.

Royal Caribbean rises as Obama eases limits on Cuba travel

Shares of Miami-based cruise operator Royal Caribbean jumped on Monday on news that the Obama administration was allowing Cuban Americans to travel more freely to the communist-ruled island. The news stoked hopes that the cruise ship operator could sail to an attractive locale.
